The Gardena is the entry point to the amslod range, and the only model with 26-inch fat tyres. CST 26 × 4.0 tyres run at low pressure to keep contact on loose ground, which is what makes this bike work where a normal city tyre loses grip.

Power comes from a 48 V 750 W motor with a torque sensor, drawing on a 48 V 16 Ah battery charged by a 48 V 3 A charger. A TFT display shows your speed and battery state. Shifting is a simple Shimano 8-speed setup with an RD-M310 rear derailleur and SL-M315 shifter, and a 44 T Prowheel chainring.

Tektro HD-E350 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors handle stopping, and the front suspension fork has 50 mm of travel. The frame is a 26-inch alloy frame with a 435 mm seat tube.

What it is not: the Gardena uses a hub motor rather than a mid-drive unit. It is built for city riding, poor surfaces and gentle paths — not for mountain trails.
