The Nebula X uses a Bosch Performance Line PX drive unit, the same motor as the Nebula XX. The difference from the standard Nebula is the drive unit and the fork: a Bosch Performance Line PX in place of an Active Line Plus, and an SR Suntour NEX-E25 fork in place of the Amslod MLO DS. Both changes are aimed at riders who want more help on climbs and into headwinds.

The rest is the package that makes the Nebula line easy to live with. A 600 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery integrated into the frame, a Purion 200 display on the bar, a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub with a single shifter, and Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes. Aluminium frame, 28-inch wheels, Kenda 28 × 2.0 tyres.

It suits riders who want one bike that covers the commute and longer weekend rides without a second thought.

What it is not: like the rest of the Nebula line, this is a trekking bike rather than a trail bike. It has no rear suspension.
